The 26th Masonic District School of Instruction is scheduled for February 21 at Fuquay Lodge No. 258. The day will start at 8 am with the host lodge opening the school.

Plan on attending to increase your awareness of the ritual work and meet the new officers of the lodges in our district.

Once again we are making preparations for our spring barbecue. It is scheduled for Friday, April 3. The officers are asking for everyone to participate to make this a successful fund-raiser for our Masonic charities. Not only do we need tickets sold, there are many jobs during the day of the barbecue which need to be filled.

Please plan just a few hours of your time on April 3rd to assist in the preparation, cooking, filling plates, cleaning, chopping meat, etc.

The next Trestle Board is scheduled for publication around the end of March. If you have any news which you want to pass on to the brethren, contact Kevin Hall at 380-1635.

The chapter will hold its barbecue fund-raiser on February 6 at the Cary Masonic Temple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The lodge recently voted to change the locks on the LODGE room access doors (not the outside building doors). Access to the lodge room can now only be gained from the lobby entrance door. The preparation door and the north/west lodge door (near the mens room)are now lockable and should remain locked when lodge room is not in use.

If you need access to the lodge room, contact the secretary or a Board of Trustee member for a key.

Included with this newsletter are the names, ages, grade in school and residence cottage of the children that we, Cary Lodge No. 198, sponsor at the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford. These kids would greatly enjoy any correspondence that you may send.

Plan on attending St. Johns Day in June and meet the young men and ladies that we sponsor. St. Johns Day is June 20.
